The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released the results of WB Madhyamik class 10 board exams 2020 today on July 15, 2020. Last year, the WBBSE Madhyamik class 10 board result was declared on May 21st 2019. The results are delayed this year because of the outbreak of the coronavirus in the nation which was followed by multiple nationwide lockdowns. This year, the WBBSE Class 12 Result 2020 is going to be out on July 17, 2020. The class 10 board exams were paused when the lockdown started and now, according to the new guidelines issued by the government, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has calculated the marks of students and released their results. The list of WBBSE class 10 toppers 2020 will also be announced shortly after the results are out.
WBBSE is the body that conducts and is responsible for the exams and announcement of the results of West Bengal for class 10th. Those students who gave the West Bengal class 10 exams 2020 can check their results online on the official website of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (wbresults.nic.in). The WBBSE declared the results of West Bengal class 10th board exams 2020 at 10:30 am on its official website. The pass percentage of WB class 10 board exams 2020 is 86.34%. Out of the 10.03 lakh students who took the West Bengal class 10 board exams 2020, 8.43 lakh have passed.
In 2019, it had happened for the first time in the history that a student has scored 99% marks in West Bengal class 10th results. Sougata Das from Mahammad Deshpran Vidyapith in East Midnapore district scored a total of 694 marks out of 700. He managed to score 99.14% which is the highest in the West Bengal class 10th results.

The West Bengal class 10 exams are also known as West Bengal Madhyamik Examinations. Last year, these exams started on 12th February 2019 and ended on 22nd February 2019 this year. In 2018, the West Bengal class 10 results 2018 were announced on 6th June.
