Literary Competitions at Chalapathi Pharmacy College
Chalapathi Pharmacy College conducted various literary competitions on “Conservation of Water Resources” on 28-April-2016. The competitions were conducted for the B.Pharmacy students of the college. Essay writing and Elocution competitions were conducted in the morning. A total number of 45 students participated in this event. Students expressed various ideas and views regarding the conservation of water resources.
The college management announced the winners of the competitions in the evening and gave away the prizes. College principal, N. Rama Rao said, “The College conducts various literary activities every year. These competitions are being conducted to bring the hidden talents of students as well as to encourage the students. Recently the government of Andhra Pradesh has taken up various activities to conserve the water resources. As a part of this, the college also came forward to conduct various competitions on the theme”. He congratulated the winners.
The following students won prizes in Essay Writing and Elocution:-
- G.Vineetha won 1st prize in Essay Writing.
- Reshmitha won 2nd prize in Essay writing.
- N.Shankar and A.Maneesha won 1st and 2nd prizes in Elocution.
G.Vineetha said, “Today there is a lot of need for ground water resources. But these ground water resources are being depleted day by day. People have to conserve the ground water and avoid polluting surface water. People have to conserve the water resources for the future generations".
