Live Updates of GATE 2022 (Day 3 – Feb 12): Paper Analysis, Student Reviews, Exam Day Updates

Day 3 of GATE 2022 began on February 12. The exam is also scheduled for February 13. Almost 9 lakh candidates are going to appear for the GATE 2022 exam this year. The exam is being conducted amid the third wave Covid-19 pandemic, and IIT Kharagpur has taken all the measures to ensure the safety of students. Travel passes have been issued so that the test takers are not restricted with the movement. As most of the states are yet to lift the night curfew, candidates who are restricted or stopped while reaching the exam centre can show the travel pass & admit card. February 5, 2022, 7:00 AM: The morning session exam of GATE 2022 Day 1 starts at 9:00 AM. The exams scheduled in the first shift are CS and BM.

On February 3, the Supreme Court of India dismissed a petition seeking the postponement of the GATE 2022 exam. The court indicated that it could not postpone the exam before 48 hours. On the other hand, the court indicated that the exams could not be postponed as it will be a disadvantage to desirous candidates.
