GATE 2024 admit card will be released on January 3, 2024, in online mode at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Candidates can download the GATE 2024 admit card from GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System). In order to download the GATE 2024 admit card online, candidates will have to log in with their registration details, such as Enrollment ID and Password on GOAPS. It must be noted that the admit card of GATE 2024 will be issued only to those who successfully fill out the GATE Application Form 2024. IISc Bangalore has released the GATE exam 2024 dates. The GATE 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. We will update the GATE 2024 admit card direct link below once it is activated by the officials. 

GATE hall ticket 2024 will include the GATE exam date and time, candidate information, the full address of the GATE exam centre, and exam instructions. Without a GATE 2024 exam admit card, no applicant will be permitted to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

Candidates may instantly download the GATE hall ticket 2024 from the official website once it is made available by the authorities. Candidates should take the responsibility of GATE Admit Card 2024 download, as no physical copy will be sent. Instructions For GATE 2024 Admit Card

Before downloading and printing the GATE 2024 admit card/hall ticket, candidates must follow the important instructions given below:

• GATE 2024 Registration number must be clearly mentioned on the GATE 2024 admit card

• Candidates must verify all the details given on the GATE 2024 admit card

• Candidates’ Photographs and Signatures should be clear and legible

• Candidates’ Signature on the day of the exam and in the GATE 2024 hall ticket should be the same

• In case a candidate finds any discrepancy in his/her admit card, then it must be immediately reported to the concerned authority

• IISc Bangalore does not send Admit cards to students at their mailing address. Candidates must download the admit card from the GOAPS portal of GATE

• The conducting body does not accept any request for changes in the exam centre, date or time of the examination. Students must appear for the examination on a specific date, time and location as mentioned on the admit card

• Students must ensure that the photograph on the admit card and ID card that the student carries with him on the day of examination matches. 

• The candidate must take the printout of the admit card in coloured printed form on an A4 sized paper

• Special facility request on the day of examination is not entertained by the conducting body

• Exam Center Address - The address or location where a candidate must be present for the exam. Exam centres might be difficult to access if they are far away, thus applicants are urged to visit their centre one day before the exam day to ensure a smooth arrival on exam day.
• GATE Paper Code - The name of the course or programme will be stated. So, if you are studying Mechanical Engineering, your GATE Paper/Code will be ME.

ID Proofs Required with GATE 2024 Admit Card

For identification purposes, candidates will be required to carry their photo identification proofs in original along with their GATE 2024 admit card. It must be noted that if any candidate fails to carry his/her original ID proof, then he/she will not be allowed inside the exam hall.

• PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID, Aadhaar card, College ID or Employee ID.

If a candidate forgets his/her Enrollment ID and Password for GATE 2024, he/she can follow the steps given below to retrieve the GATE 2024 Enrolment ID and Password:

• In the case of Enrollment ID, click on “Forgot Enrollment ID”.

• Enter your registered mobile number.

• GATE 2024 Enrollment ID will be sent to the registered mobile number and E-mail ID.

• Click on “Request for OTP” to get a One Time Password.

• One-Time Password will be sent to your registered mobile number.

• After entering the OTP, you will be able to reset your password.

Discrepancy in GATE 2024 Admit Card

Both humans and computers are prone to errors and thus the candidates might find discrepancies in their admit card of GATE 2024. GATE 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Following are some of the important GATE 2024 exam day guidelines that candidates must follow.

• Candidates must reach the exam centre 60 minutes early
•  To avoid any last-minute uncertainty and to be on time on the exam day, candidates are also urged to visit or find the center one day in advance.
• After the time specified on the IIT GATE 2024 admit card, no applicant will be permitted to access the testing facility
• No applicant will be permitted to leave the testing location until the exam is formally over.
• Mobile phones, watches, and other electronic gadgets are not permitted inside testing facilities.
• The applicants could be given access to virtual scientific calculators for computations.
• For rough work, scribbling pads will be given. Before using the scribbling pad, the applicants must write their name and registration number on it. The scribbling pad needs to be given back to the examiner at the conclusion of the test.
