The GATE 2019 admit card has been released by IIT Madras in online mode, which is also the conducting body of the exam. It must be noted that GATE admit card 2019 is issued only to those who successfully filled GATE Application Form 2019. To download the GATE 2019 admit card online, candidates will have to log in with their registration details, which includes Enrollment ID and Password.
GATE 2019 is going to be conducted by IIT Madras for the candidates who wish to take admission in M.E./M.Tech/Ph.D and many other engineering courses offered at prestigious institutes of the country. The admit card of GATE 2019 will include exam related and candidate-specific details like – date of exam, time of the exam, registration number of the candidate, name of the candidate, venue/centre details and important instructions about the exam. Before downloading the GATE 2019 hall ticket, candidates must validate all the details printed on it.
Note: On the day of the exam, candidates must remember to take their GATE admit card along with an original photo ID proof.

IIT Madras has released the GATE 2019 admit card in online mode. By following the below mentioned steps, test-takers will be able to download their GATE 2019 admit card/hall ticket.
Step 1: To access the GATE 2019 admit card, visit the official website of GATE.
Step 2: Click on the link that displays, “Download GATE 2019 Admit Card”.
Step 3: After clicking on the link, enter GATE login credentials – Enrollment ID/registered E-mail ID, Password and Security Text.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
Step 5: GATE 2019 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download and save the GATE 2019 admit card.
Step 7: Verify the filled details before printing the GATE admit card.
Step 8: Take a coloured printout of the GATE admit card for future use.
Before downloading and printing the GATE 2019 admit card/hall ticket, candidates must follow the important instructions given below:
GATE 2019 Registration number must be clearly mentioned on the GATE 2019 admit card.
Candidates must verify all the details given on the GATE 2019 admit card.
Candidates’ Photograph and Signature should be clear and legible.
Candidates’ Signature on the day of the exam and in the GATE 2019 hall ticket should be the same.
In case a candidate finds any discrepancy in his/her admit card, then it must be immediately reported to the concerned authority.

For identification purposes, candidates will be required to carry their photo identification proofs in original. It must be noted that if any candidate fails to carry his/her original ID proof, then he/she will not be allowed inside the exam hall.

If a candidate forgets his/her Enrollment ID and Password, he/she can follow the steps given below:
For Enrollment ID:
In case of Enrollment ID, click on “Forgot Enrollment ID”.
Enter your Registered mobile number.
GATE 2018 Enrollment ID will be sent to the registered mobile number and E-mail ID.
Click on “Request for OTP” to get One Time Password.
One Time Password will be sent to your registered mobile number.
After entering the OTP, you will be able to reset your password.
If the candidates find discrepancies in their admit card of GATE 2019. In such a case, it must be reported to the concerned authority immediately. The authority holds no responsibility to inform the candidates. Hence, it is advised to the candidates to double check all the information before submitting the form.
1. How will I get my GATE admit card?
Candidates will be able to download GATE admit card online from the official website of GATE 2019.
Note: GATE admit cards will not be sent by email/post or any other offline mode.
2. Which documents should I carry along with the GATE admit card?
Candidates must carry PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, College ID, Employee ID Card, Aadhaar UID, or a Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address along with the GATE admit card.
3. Till when should I keep the GATE 2019 admit card?
Yes, candidates will be required to retain the GATE admit card until the completion of GATE admission process.
4. Can I bring the soft copy of GATE admit card in mobile phone/tablet/laptop?
Candidates must carry a hardcopy of the GATE admit card on the day of the exam. No soft-copy of the hall ticket is allowed inside the exam hall.
