Makeover of Magadh University branch office in Patna
Magadh University Patna Branch office is likely to get a complete make-over as informed by the officer on special duty (OSD) of the Patna branch office, Mrs. Asha Singh.
According to the reports, Magadh University's (MU) - Patna branch office is soon going to begin the centralized evaluation work of the Degree level examination papers in the coming months (most probably May) to publish the results at the right time.
The officer on special duty said ‘A spacious hall and a well constructed and guarded room are being constructed for the process of paper evaluation on the 3rd and 4th floors of the office building of the branch office". Mrs. Singh also added that the branch office would soon be equipped with CCTV cameras and TVs. The premises would be fully computerized along with the magazines and safe drinking water would also be available.
Magadh University intends to develop the Patna branch office as a centre for redressal for the students and the students. The 6 storeyed building will also have conference halls and meeting halls and a guesthouse for the university officials.
The Patna branch had been constructed to cater to the needs of more than 1 lakh students from Nalanda district and Patna district. Almost 70 affiliated colleges and thirty constituent colleges, including the minority institutions are under direct control of the branch office that is situated near the College of Commerce, Arts and Science - Patna which is also a constituent college for Magadh University.
