Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in Hyderabad has introduced a new system where the students will be able to analyse their answer sheets right before the results are declared. The move has already been implemented from the May examinations that were conducted this year. The option is available for all the programmes that are on offer under the Varsity’s jurisdiction.
MANUU released a notification stating that the display system will now be available for all the programmes once the evaluations of the examinations have been completed. The release also stated that the varsity is among first to have implemented the system.
An official has made statements to the press stating that the students had been called for the viewing of the answer scripts along with discussing the answer scripts in the classrooms right before the results are declared. He further added that the Varsity will be releasing the results within a span of 20 days from the date of completion of the University Examinations.

The release from Maulana Azad National Urdu University stated that a committee was formed consisting of senior professors, Directors of internal Quality Assurance Cell and Centre for Information Technology along with the Controller of Examinations. The committee looked into the various facets regarding the system along with different implementation processes. The introduction of an Evaluation Grievance Redressal Committees has been made for each of the departments of the University.

In a statement made by the Principal of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, he stated that the step had been taken to bring a level of transparency in the examination system as well as the evaluation of the exams. He added that the aim is to bring an improvement in the “learning experience” of the students. He stated that with the system, the students will be able to find out the mistakes they may have made, clear their doubts about where they went wrong with the teachers and in turn, learn from their mistakes. He added that this will help in ensuring improvement in the learning capabilities of the student.
