Odisha government will conduct special OJEE 2020 soon. B.Tech aspirants of Odisha who missed JEE Main exam are eligible to appear for this special OJEE exam. The deadline to submit the application form has been extended till June 30, 3030.
Special OJEE 2020 - Odisha government has decided to conduct the Special OJEE 2020 exam for the candidates who missed or did not appear for JEE Main exam. The application process for special OJEE 2020 has commenced. The special OJEE 2020 is expected to take place in the last week of July. The last date to apply for the same is June 30, 2020. Students can apply for the same in online mode on the official website.
About Odisha Special OJEE 2020:
The state government of Odisha conducts special Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) to fill up vacant seats in B.Tech course in various colleges across the state. Usually, this exam is conducted after the first round counselling process.
Candidates who have already appeared or going to appear for JEE Main 2020 are not required to appear for Special OJEE exam.

The decision to conduct special OJEE 2020 has been taken to fill up vacant seats in engineeringcourses and give a chance to those who missed JEE Main exam. Last year, most of the colleges reduced intake for engineering courses due to declining demand for engineering courses. In 2018, over 25,000 engineering seats remained vacant out of the available 40,000.
