The Maulana Azad National Urdu University has collaborated with National Cultural Audiovisual Archives- NCAA which is located at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).
The Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the two for MANUU’s digital outreach and for cultural promotion. Rizwan Ahmad, Director, Instructional Media Centre said that the association will help MANUU outreach as the NAAC Project web portal.

The main aim of the collaboration is to provide assistance to both governmental and non-governmental institutions who are in possession of cultural audiovisual materials along with systematic cataloguing and digitization. This will provide MANUU with an opportunity to get its material digitized as per the international standards and all the programme produced will be safely preserved for a longer duration.

Since its establishment in 2014, NCAA has digitized over 15,000 hours of cultural audiovisual material for more than 16 institutions across the country.
The Instructional Media Centre has produced a large number of documentaries and other related programmes dealing with Urdu Language and culture, seminars, talk shows, workshops accepted by NAAC.
