The students of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University have been left perplexed as they have not been provided with the necessary information such as the supplementary dates for the supplementary exam, etc. The authority to approve the exams has now been shifted to the Registrar of the University.
As the results of the undergraduate programmes at the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University are being released, the students are now at a dilemma as to the situation with the supplementary examinations that are supposed to be conducted by the University. Sources state that the results to the B.Com as well as the B.Sc Part-3 results have been released by the college, meanwhile, the results to the B.A. Part-3 is in the process of being announced. However, no information has been declared by the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University in regards to the supplementary examination.
As per the guidelines, the supplementary examination needs to be conducted by the Varsity for those students who do not clear the Part -3 of any undergraduate programme at the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University. Through this option, the students are allowed to appear for the examination in the current year. The students, however, have not been provided with any information regarding the same, sources state.

The Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University has provided those students who do not clear any of the examinations, Part 1 and Part 2, with the necessary provisions and opportunities to clear the examination in the current year. Sources also stated that the “continued stay on work” by the Vice-Chancellor of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Prof R P Singh, the process for approval of the supplementary examinations will now lie with the University Registrar.

It is also to be noted that the admissions to the different programmes at the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University have commenced, with the acceptance of the applications to the admissions. However, the server of the University had suffered a technical issue, which resulted in the students being unable to submit the admissions forms. This had resulted in a protest held by the students, demanding that the last date for applying to the programmes be postponed.
