Dhruv Garg, a 13-year-old boy of Indian-origin scored the highest possible marks i.e. 162 in a Mensa IQ test. His score on the test has placed him amongst the top one per cent people in the world who have got the similar score.
The young talent had decided to occupy himself with something productive and hence participated in the IQ test. Dhruv also appeared for Mensa’s second test i.e. the Culture Fair scale and aced it as well by securing a score of 152.
The score secured by him is the highest amongst one percent population who appear for Mensa exam across the world.
Dhruv is from south-east England’s Wokingham and goes to Reading School, a grammar school in Berkshire. Apart from the test, he is also working to developing an app to help lonely people in the same area to meet up and battle isolation.

Talking about his excellent performance in the test, Dhruv said that he participated in the test as an extra activity and did not expect to do so well. He is looking forward to starting his new session at school and help people with his app.
He has always performed well at school and his favourite subjects are mathematics and chemistry, his mother informed. Dhruv is also a keen cricketer and table tennis player and has a record of completing the Rubik’s Cube in under 100 seconds.

He reads a lot of journals and also takes special lessons at school as part of an advanced curriculum. His mother added that they were not aware of the testing scheme till they got a call from Mensa and realised that it was a huge achievement to have secured highest marks on that test.
