NEET Agitation: SC Directs Tamil Nadu Govt. to Maintain Law and Order

NEET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). For the year 2017, the exam was held on 7th May and results were announced on 23rd May. NEET has replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all other medical exams conducted by states or colleges.

However, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) still conduct their individual exams, as they were established by separate laws and fall outside the NEET’s purview.
