NEET PG 2022 was conducted on May 21. As per the recent Supreme Court hearing on NEET PG 2022 EWS quota, the final hearing is scheduled to take place in July. As per the recent developments, it is clearly revealed that the counselling of NEET PG 2022 is expected to begin in August. NEET PG 2022 result date is expected to be June 20, and the counselling process is likely to begin only after the final hearing on the EWS quota and SC verdict. Once the NEET PG 2022 counselling begins, the candidates will have to register with their AIR and participate in the counselling process.

As the AIQ counselling of NEET PG 2022 is expected to begin in August, it is expected to be wrapped up by the 2nd week of September, and the state-level counselling process will begin next. In all probability, the 2022 PG medical admissions are expected to be wrapped up by October, and the government is intended to start the academic session as early as possible to cover the academic delay caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in the last two years.

With an aim to bring academic session timelines on track, the government was also not ready to postpone the NEET PG 2022 exam scheduled on May 21. On the other hand, NEET PG 2023 is expected to be in January.
