NBE has been ordered by the Supreme Court to conduct NEET PG 2025 in a single shift. In consequence of this and the following postponement of the examination, the release of NEET PG City Intimation 2025, which is scheduled for June 2, has been postponed

NEET PG 2025 City Intimation Slip Postponed: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has delayed the release of the city intimation slip for the NEET PG 2025, according to its latest notice on postponement of the examination. Previously, the Supreme Court of India directed the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to conduct the NEET PG 2025 exam in a single shift. Therefore, NBE has to make necessary arrangements to conduct the exam in a single shift, and more exam centres need to be identified. Due to this, the city intimation slip, which was initially scheduled to be out on June 2 , is now postponed until further notice.

The NBEMS issued an official statement regarding the postponement on June 2, citing logistical challenges in finalising examination centres and accommodating the large number of applicants. Over 2 lakh medical graduates are expected to appear for NEET PG 2025, which is scheduled to be held on June 15, 2025.
Recently, the Supreme Court stated that a two-shift exam leads to arbitrariness, owing to the difference in difficulty level between the two shifts. The plea filed by medical students had alleged that the two-shift exam has the potential for unfairness and inconsistencies and urged the court to interfere in that matter. The court opined that the two-shift exam will lead to arbitrariness, and the normalisation process should not be implemented.
Experts advise candidates to regularly check the official NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in) for updates and avoid relying on unofficial sources. An official update from NBE is still awaited. Students are advised not to believe any rumours with regard to NEET PG 2025 postponement, and continue with their preparation.
