Vice Chancellor of Nagpur University, Dr. Siddharthavinayaka Kane has rejected the students idea of having an official Facebook page by saying that the Nagpur University already has fully updated the website and students can access it anytime they want hence no need of another page.
A convenient marketing tool for professionals, to a medium to connect with old friends and a mode to stay updated on all the latest buzz, one can't deny the impact of social media today, especially in youngsters' lives. Knowing the power of social media, there has been a constant demand for an official Facebook page of the RTMNU by Nagpur collegians.
But there will be no official page of Nagpur University on Facebook.
