Vijayawada Municipal Corporation to implement online education in 2016-17
Vijayawada Municipal Corporation decided to implement online education in schools for the academic year 2016-17.
Addressing the media, Municipal Commissioner G.Veerapaidian said "we are going to tie up with a Hyderabad based company, CISCO and Eccentric".
Initially the online education system will be introduced in 10 schools across Vijayawada. The Commissioner also stated that the Municipal Corporation is not leaving any opportunity in developing facilities to promote education among the children under corporation schools in the city.
As a part of the initiative, the online education system will be introduced for Class X students to avail decent score in the Board exams. The installation of CEED boxes and projectors will commence from April 2016 in the schools. The Commissioner guided the teachers to get ready to cope up with the new system. Training will be provided for the teachers from April 25, 2016 to April 30, 2016.
