Rozgar Mela which is the largest job fair in Uttar Pradesh concluded on 28th October 2018. The three-day U.P. job fair was a massive hit as 3,000 candidates were selected for different job roles such as human resource - junior executive, customer relations executive, among others.
It was organised by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in Lucknow. Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister, U.P. State, addressed the audience at the closing ceremony and stated that the main aim of the government is to create ample job opportunities for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. The objective of the government is to offer students with jobs within the state as well so that they do not have to travel and hunt for jobs.

He further added that the candidate should focus on enhancing their employability as the government is putting a lot of efforts to provide them quality higher education and employment opportunities.
The Rozgar Mela provided the job seekers with an opportunity to gain knowledge about different industries, sectors and entrepreneurship opportunities. It also served as a platform for companies and organisation to meet potential employees in a more formal way.

The job fair is a great way of bringing skilled candidates in direct contact with companies, HR managers, recruiters, trainers etc. Leading corporates and MNCs such as Aarohan Micro Finances, G4S Securities, Muthoot Microfin, Bajaj Capital, carnival Films etc. participated in the U.P. job fair.
