The Panjab University Common Entrance Test (PU-CET) for undergraduate programmes of Panjab University, Chandigarh, which was scheduled to be conducted on 28th of April 2019 has now been postponed. It will now be conducted two days later, on 30th April 2019. The PU-CET for University’s integrated course BA-LLB has also been postponed. It was earlier supposed to be conducted on 26th May 2019 and it will now be held on 16th June 2019.
According to the official notification, the application process will begin shortly for some of the courses. Interested candidates who wish to apply for the PU-CET will be able to apply online from 5th April 2019 onwards. The university will begin its application process for its law courses from 15th of April 2019. The students will be able to find the application forms at the official website of Panjab University.
Panjab University has also announced that they will be conducting the entrance examinations as part of the admission process for MA Economics. The question paper will consist of 75 multiple choice questions which the candidates will have to complete in 1.5 hours. All the questions in the paper carry one marks each. However, there is a negative marking of 0.4 marks for every wrong answer that the student will give.
Panjab University, Chandigarh has already started its admission process for the PG course in Dental. The applicants who wish to apply will have to draw a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,500 (for General Category) or Rs. 750 for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories. The DD is to be made in favour of the ‘Registrar of Panjab University, Chandigarh’ which will be payable at Chandigarh.
