PB Siddhartha College Organized Faculty Development Program

The Computer Science Department of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science organized a three day Faculty Development Program on ‘Adobe Photoshop’ at college premises on 10th – 12th June-2016. The program was organized in collaboration with Element School of Visual Arts, Vijayawada.

The faculty development program was attended by computer science faculty of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, PB Siddhartha College and AG & SG Siddhartha College, Vuyyuru. The faculty members were trained in ‘Adobe Photoshop’ and its usage as a part of curriculum which is included in first year B.Sc. Computer Science course. The faculty felt that this program is very much useful for them to enhance their computer skills.

HOD of Computer Science Department, K. Sridhar of PB Siddhartha said, “The program was organized to enable the lecturers to teach the subject better as Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education included Adobe Photoshop in the curriculum of the first year BSc Computer Science and BCA courses from this academic year under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS).

The faculty members were awarded with the certificates at the end of training session by principal of the college, MVN Padma Rao at the valedictory program. Faculty members thanked the college management for organizing this training session.
