PVP Siddhartha College of Engineering and Technology organized Sitar-2k16 a one day Techno-cultural fest at college auditorium on 25-February-2016. The fest was inaugrated by Shri.Uday Bhaskar, Chairman, Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.
Addressing the students he said that students must have an exposure. To gain this exposure they have to participate in various competetions and events. He also motivated students to secure government jobs. He stressed on the theme "Life Long Learning"
Around 1567 students from 57 colleges in the state have come forward to participate in various events like

227 Technical papers were presented by the students and 77 Model exhibits were displayed by the students.
The winners were awarded with prizes and certificates at the Validictory ceremony that took place in the evening. A Total of 545 students have won prizes in various events. The college management congratulated all the prize winners.
College dean, Co-ordinator, Facult and students were present at the event. The programme ended with a high extravaganza.
