The Higher and Technical Education Minister of Rajasthan, Kiran Maheswari launched ‘Dishari’, an education mobile application on November 21, 2017. The mobile app provides competitive exams study materials to students at free of cost.
‘Dishari’ is a complication of interactive quizzes with questions associated with Mathematics, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Economics, Reasoning and Computers. The mobile app will also provide latest job alerts and updates on competitive exams. The app will turn out to be beneficial to students who could not afford to join coaching centres.

Kiran Maheshwari said that many students could not fulfil their dream due to insufficient preparation for competitive exams. Many students are deprived of joining coaching centres due to financial conditions. ‘Dishari’ will address all the issues of students relating to competitive exams, syllabus, exam pattern and others. The mobile app will instil greater confidence among the students, she added.
Along with ‘Dishari’, Kiran Maheswari also launched ‘Management Information System’, a mobile application for geo-tagging all the government colleges across the state. Through this mobile application, students can track the current NAAC and RUSA statuses of the colleges. The state government is taking extensive measures to bring digitalisation in the education system.

In the current scenario, cracking a competitive exam has become tougher. The competition has become heavy, and the pattern of competitive exams has become tough. With an objective to filter the candidates, two to three stages of the selection process are being conducted. For instance, SBI conducts PO exam every year. The candidates who register for this exam have to qualify prelims, mains and finals to bag the job.
