Reputed pharma company Reddy’s Laboratories conducted Placement drive at Vagdevi Degree College on 7-May-2016. The placement drive was conducted for the surrounding colleges as well as Host College. The interviews were conduct for Pharmacy students and B.Sc. Chemistry students of the surrounding colleges. The placement drive was inaugurated by college principal, Suresh Babu.
The placement drive evoked a grand response as a total number of 74 students attended the interviews. Two rounds of interview were conducted which included a preliminary written test regarding subject and face to face interview. Out of them 36 students got selected in the final round of interview. 2 students of Vagdevi Degree College got selected in the final round of interview. The students are selected at annual package of Rs.1, 00,000. Students were given offer letters by the company officials.
College principal, Suresh Babu said, “M. Swathi and T.Naga Jyothi are selected for Reddy’s Lab. The college has a good placement percent. Being a degree college the college has been offering placements on par with engineering colleges. A total number of 120 students secured job in campus placements conducted in the academic year 2015-2016”. The students were congratulated by the college management and faculty.
