The results for the NIFT Entrance Exam 2017 have been announced by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) yesterday, March 29, 2017. The results that were scheduled to be declared on March 30, 2017, have been declared a day earlier.
Candidates who had appeared for the NIFT Entrance Exam 2017 can now check their results through the official website.
Steps to check Result of NIFT Written Exam:
- Visit the official exam page and look for the link of the result
- Click on the link that will direct you to the result login page
- Fill in either two of the roll number, application number and date of birth
- Click on ‘submit’
- Your NIFT Entrance Exam result will appear on the screen

NIFT Entrance Exam 2017 was held on February 12 across 32 exam centres in India. Experts in the field suggested that there was a slight change in the exam pattern this year. However, candidates who appeared for the exam in 2017 reported that the exam was easier as compared to 2016.
Students who have qualified the exam and are mentioned in the NIFT entrance exam merit list will be eligible for the Situation Test and Group Discussion/ Interview for final admissions.

Two students securing similar marks in the NIFT entrance exam will have to face a tie-breaker that will be done on the basis of age. In such cases, the older candidate (according to the date of birth mentioned during registration) will get a higher rank.
