The result for the probationary officers’ recruitment exam 2017 has been declared by the State Bank of India (SBI) on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the SBI PO Main Exam 2017 can check the result and verify whether they have been shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview or not.
Here are the steps to check SBI PO Main Result 2017:
- Log on to the official website of the State Bank of India.
- Click on the career tab present on the home page.
- Click on the link that says ‘SBI PO Main result’.
- A PDF file will open on the screen that will have the roll numbers of all the students who have been shortlisted.
- Download the file for future reference and selection process.
All candidates will be awarded marks out of 250 and will further be normalised to a score out of 75. Performance in GD and PI will be evaluated out of 50 marks and the score secured will be normalised from out of 25.

The final merit of shortlisted candidates will be declared by aggregating the normalised marks scored by a candidate in written exam and group exercises. The final marks will be awarded out of 100 for students in each category. The top students from each category will be shortlisted for the post of PO at SBI.

The SBI PO Preliminary Exam 2017 was conducted in May 2017 whereas Main Exam was conducted on June 4 for graduates willing to apply for the post of probationary officers at SBI.
