Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) is set to release the RRB NTPC exam city information slip for the CBTST (Computer Based Typing Skill Test) on August 3, 2022. For downloading the city intimation slip for Typing Skill Test they can directly go to the official website rrbcdg.gov.in and enter their user ID and password.
The intimation slip of the Railway Recruitment Board such as exam city, state, date of exam, time, shift, time of reporting, etc. The NTPC Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) will be conducted by RRB on August 12, 2022.
RRB NTPC 2022: What are the important instructions that candidates should follow?
Here are some important instructions that are related to the RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test:
- Aspiring candidates are required to type at least 300 words in English. Those candidates who have chosen Hindi are required to type at least 250 words.
- Candidates will be required to type English or Hindi, as per the option chosen by them on the official website of RRB. Anyone who has not exercised their choices will be required to type in English.
- Any candidate who has opted for Hindi as their typing language should be familiar with the Mangal font or Krutidev font.
- This test essentially tests candidates for their speed and those candidates who will be able to complete the given passage within the stipulated time of 10 minutes, will be able to retype the entire passage again. But any candidate who fails to complete the passage at least once within 10 minutes will be disqualified from the test.
- Any transcript that does not contain 300 words in English or 250 words in Hindi will not be evaluated by the evaluator.
RRB NTPC 2022: Evaluation Criteria
The evaluation for RRB NTPC 2022 will be done on the basis of the following criteria:
Mistakes will be divided into two categories as follows:
- Full mistakes and half mistakes
The authorities will be ignoring the 5% mistakes of the total number of words that a candidate has typed.
- According to the total number of mistakes found in the paragraph, the total number will be calculated as follows:
- Number of full mistakes + Number of Half mistakes/ 2 = Total number of mistakes
- Number of mistakes - 5% of the total number of words typed by the candidate = Final count of mistakes
Here is the formula that will be used to find out the typing speed of candidates:
- Typing Speed = Number of total words typed - (Final count of mistakes * 10) / Time
- The minimum speed that a candidate must have should be at least 30 words per minute and for Hindi, it is 25 words per minute.
