Selection & Counselling Process after Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) – B.Des

IIT Bombay conducts UCEED examination for the admission to B.Des course. The candidates can check the detailed selection and counselling process here.

Selection Process: -

• The selection of the candidates will be based on the score they secure in UCEED examination.
• Seat allotment will be done as per rank or merit list.

Counselling Process: -

• Counselling process starts after the declaration of results.
• The qualified candidates in the entrance examination have to take part in the counselling process.
• The candidates have to exercise the options during the web based counselling process.
• The seat allotment will be done based on the UCEED rank, category and choice of institutes.
• There will be three rounds of counselling.
• However, the counselling process closes once all the seats are filled.
• If the candidate is allotted the seat in the college as per his first preference, he/she can ACCEPT and Freeze the option.
• These candidates will not be allowed to take part in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
• The candidates who do not get the seat as per his/her preference can opt for FLOAT option and can take part in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
• The selected candidates will receive an allotment letter via e-mail and online fee payment link.
• The selected candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 60,000.
