Steps taken for free and fair exams - Magadh University
The Magadh university administration has organized a high-level meeting in order to conduct free and fair exams. The exams for graduation third year are going to be held soon.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. (Mo) Ishtiyak, the vice-chancellor of the University. The meeting was held on Friday, i.e. 1st April 2016.
A total of 60 exam centres has been assigned for the upcoming graduation third-year exams in a total of seven districts. Also, the Patna zone has a total of 25 centres under it.
It is noteworthy that the exam centres are supposed to have CCTV cameras to ensure the fairness of the exams. Also, the centralized evaluation of the answer sheets is supposed to be done in order to achieve the goal of free and fair evaluation process as well under the strict scrutiny of the University's administration.
The University has recently been going through a phase of a make-over. The administration is working and revising its working. Research and development have been taking place, actively over the last months.
The administration has been very strict with the cases of unfair means in the recent months. Students and the invigilators involved in practicing unfair means have been strictly dealt with.
Also, the Patna Branch office which is being used for the centralized evaluation process is going through renovation. A spacious hall & well constructed & guarded rooms are being constructed for the purpose of the process of paper-evaluation on the third and the fourth floors of the office buildings at the Patna branch office.
