Steps to Retrieve Application Number and Password to Check JEE Main Result January 2023

JEE Main 2023 result is all set to be published today, 6th February, by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The result is going to be released in online mode and candidates who appeared for it will be able to check it online. They will need to visit the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in to access the result. Since the result is going to be announced anytime soon, candidates who have forgotten their application number and password must try to retrieve them to check their results. How to Retrieve JEE Main 2023 Application Number?

To recover the JEE Main application number, the below-given steps must be followed -
Step 1: Go to the official portal. 
Step 2: On the homepage, click on JEE Main 2023 session 1 application under "Candidate's Activity". 
Step 3: A new page will appear where candidates must click on "Forgot Application No".
Step 4: A new login window will appear on the screen. The asked details such as the candidate's name, their parent's name, date of birth, and security pin must be entered. 
Step 5: Click on "Get Application Number" and it will be displayed on the screen. 
Step 6: Note it down for further reference.

How to Retrieve JEE Main 2023 Password?

The steps to recover the JEE Main password are given below. The first two steps are the same as the previous one. 

Step 1: Click on "Forgot Password" on the displayed screen. 
Step 2: Candidates will be redirected to a new page where they will be able to select any of these three options

• Using the security question & its answer you choose during Form filling.
• Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your registered mobile number.
• Using a reset link sent via email to your registered email address.

Step 3: Select any of these options and enter the required details. 
Step 4: Upon submitting those details, the password reset option will be provided. 
Step 5: Create a new password and save it for future use.
