Symbiosis International University (SIU) has announced that it has rescheduled the exams of SEED, SLAT, SET, and SITEEE in West Bengal and Odisha. The university has taken this step because of the adverse weather conditions in these two states due to Cyclone FANI.
The Symbiosis International University (Deemed-to-be) has rescheduled its Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) examination of 2019 for the cities of Kolkata, Hooghly, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar because of the adverse weather conditions in the state of West Bengal and Odisha due to Cyclone FANI. Not just SET, Symbiosis International University has rescheduled all of its entrance exams like SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test), SITEEE (Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination), and SEED (Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design) in these cities.
SET 2019 was supposed to be held on 4th May 2019, Saturday, from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Unfortunately, owing to the bad weather conditions, the Symbiosis entrance exams will be conducted on 11th May 2019, Saturday, now. The timings of the exams will remain the same.
The examination centres that have been allotted to candidates will remain the same. There will be no change in the time or exam centre for every examination, only the dates for these exams have been changed. Candidates will have to go to the same examination centre that has been mentioned on their admit card.

It is advised that the students appearing for the Symbiosis entrance examinations in the cities of Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Hooghly, and Cuttack this year must keep a track of all the latest updates that are made by the university.

- The admit card that has already been issued for the exams of 2019.
- The timings of all exams. It will remain from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- The examination centres allotted to the candidates
The entrance exams have been conducted in the remaining test cities by SIU on 4th May 2019, Saturday, according to the scheduled timings.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) of 2019 for West Bengal and Odisha as well. It was to be held on 5th May 2019 initially.

SIU was to announce the results on 14th May 2019 but the results will be postponed now owing to the rescheduling of the examinations.
