Reputed company Tata Consultancy Services has been organizing free soft skills training for poor SC, ST and BC students of Tenali and surrounding areas at ASN Degree College. The college management conducted a press meet to give details about training program.
College Principal, K.Radha Krishna Murthy said, “The main intention behind this training program is to make students capable of getting jobs in various multi-national companies. The training is being organized for the past 20 days. The training is given for a period of 40 days. Under this training program, students are trained in communication skills, Group discussion, Personality Development, Spoken English, JAM, Time management and other skills. The training is conducted for final year B.Sc. students of the college. Placement is provided in TCs for those students who excel during training period. The college is planning to start second batch for training session next week.”
Students felt that, “This training program is very beneficial for them to secure job in various companies. Moreover TCS assured placement for deserving candidates. The college has to conduct this training program every year to empower rural youth”. Students thanked the college management and TCS for organizing this training program.
