The display of Indian Air Force, at the ongoing, annual techno-management festival, 'Techniche 2016' of IIT Guwahati, has caught the attention of a lot of students and visitors, especially to those students aspiring a career in Indian Air Force.

The four-day long, 18th edition of the techno-management festival, was inaugurated by Air Marshal C Harikumar. He is an Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of Eastern Air Command. The festival will continue till 11th September.

Several state-of-the-art equipments were displayed at the tech festival. They are -
- State-of-the-art indigenous radar Rohini,
- Several armament
- Calibration testers
- Mi-17 V5 medium lift helicopter
A senior officer from the Eastern Air Command said that in order to create awareness among students about IAF, a publicity stall has also been installed, where they are providing all information on career avenues in the IAF.
