TG EAMCET 2025: No change in fee structure, counselling schedule soon

The Telangana government has announced that there will be no hike in the existing engineering fee structure for TG EAMCET 2025 admissions. The counselling schedule is expected to be released in the next few days.

TG EAMCET 2025: The state government has recently announced that there will be no change in the existing fee structure for professional programmes, including engineering, for the TG EAMCET 2025–26 academic year. Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has clarified that nothing will be changed in the fee structure, and the counselling schedule will be announced shortly on the official website- eapcet.tgche.ac.in. The Chairman, V. Balakrishna Reddy, confirmed and clarified that the counselling will begin in the first week of July and will continue till August 14.

This decision comes after several private engineering colleges proposed a sharp increase in tuition fees. Some of the proposed fees, such as those by CBIT (INR 1.65 lakh to INR 2.94 lakh) and VNR VJIET (INR 1.35 lakh to INR 2.84 lakh), had raised concerns among students, parents, and education observers. The Chairman of TGCHE stated that admissions will be conducted as per the existing fee structure and clarified that no official approval has been granted for the proposed hikes.

First, the authorities will release the notification regarding the counselling process and schedule, and then in one or two days, the counselling registration will begin. Applicants declared qualified based on results will be eligible to participate in the TG EAMCET counselling. The exam authority will conduct TS EAMCET counselling 2025 online only. The counselling process of TG EAMCET 2025 comprises registration, option entry, seat allotment and reporting to respective institutes.

To appear in the TS EAPCET counselling 2025, candidates have to fill in their choices of courses in order of their preferences in the participating institutes, pay the processing fee and book slots for selection of helpline centre, select the date & time to attend for certificate verification.
