- Students appearing for class 10 board language papers like Bengali, Mizo and Hindi will sit for the exam on 10th March instead of 9th.

One paper of the Class 10 board examination conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education- TBSE has been rescheduled due to cabinet oath-taking ceremony of the BJP’s new cabinet.
The new BJP cabinet will have swearing-in ceremony on 9th March 2018 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other central ministers. Therefore, students appearing for language papers like Bengali, Mizo and Hindi will sit for the exam on 10 March instead of 9. Mihir Kanti Deb, President TBSE , stated that the change in date of examination is due to unavoidable circumstances.

Tripura Class 10 board exam started from 6th March and will end on 10th April 2018. More than 47,000 students are enrolled with Tripura Board of Secondary Education at 51 centres this year. However, there has been a low as compared to the number of students enrolled last year. The number of students enrolled with Tripura board last year was more than 51,000.

The higher secondary examination will start from today and will continue until 13th April 2018. The board has also rescheduled three exams for grade 12. The first paper i.e. English was supposed to be conducted on 5th March but was rescheduled because of the assembly polls and to avoid any clash with polling in Charilam constituency. Similarly, philosophy and mathematics exam was shifted from 12th March to 13th April to avoid any clash.
