The admission process for MBBS/BDS courses in Telangana has been postponed. Initially, the counselling was scheduled to commence on 25-July-2016. The counselling has been postponed as there have been issues related to leakage of TS EAMCET 2 question paper. The Telangana EAMCET 2 examination was conducted on 9-July-2016. Around 50,000 medicine aspirants took the examination. Now, they are nervous about the present situation. The government did not announce the revised counselling schedule.

The issue of paper leakage came to light when some of the students secured fewer marks in EAMCET 1 and more marks in EAMCET. Some of the students secured only 50-60 marks in EAMCET-1. Whereas the same students secured 110-115 marks in EAMCET 2. Some of the coaching institutes are involved in this issue. It has been alleged that Mr. Venkatrao, a broker is directly involved.
The issue has gone into the hands of CBI. The CBI is planning to get the call records of Mr. Venkatrao and his conversations with some of the parents.
Some of the officials said that the printing press which printed the question papers for EAMCET 2 might be responsible for this leak. The investigation is going on and the conclusions need to be drawn.
