The admission counselling dates of TS EAMCET 2018 and JEE 2018 are clashing with each other which has caused nervousness among the students who appeared for both exams. According to sources, JEE-based admissions will commence in the second week of June and the initial two rounds of counselling will conclude in the first week of July 2018. On the other hand, TS SCHE confirmed the commencement of option entry (first phase counselling) for TS EAMCET qualified candidates from May 28, 2018 onwards.
Even though there are not many issues with the dates of counselling clashing with each other, students taking part in the first phase TS EAMCET counselling have also qualified JEE exam. These students are expecting an admission in NITs or IITs.

Tricky Situation for TS EAMCET and JEE Qualified Candidates in Telangana:
- If TS EAMCET counselling begins first, these students will get admission in government or top private engineering colleges across Telangana.
- If JEE counselling begins first, students may or may not get a seat in IIT or NIT. If these students fail to secure a seat in premier institutes, they will not be able to participate in TS EAMCET first phase counselling and secure a seat in government or top private colleges.
- Since TS EAMCET 2018, admission process is going to begin first, both JEE and TS EAMCET qualified candidates are in a dilemma whether to take part in JEE counselling or TS EAMCET counselling.
