TS ICET Sep 2020 (Shift 1 & 2) Exam: Answer Key & Question Paper Analysis (Out)

The Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2020 has been successfully conducted as per the revised schedule on September 30 and October 1, 2020. The exam was conducted in the Forenoon and Afternoon shifts on September 30 (Day 1) while only the Forenoon shift was conducted on October 1 (Day 2). TS ICET 2020 Day 1 Shift 1 (Sep 30 - Forenoon Shift) Analysis

The Day 1 Shift 1 of TS ICET 2020 has been conducted. Students reactions on the TS ICET question paper for the 1st shift reveal that the exam was of moderate difficulty with some lengthy parts in the Mathematical Ability section. Logical Ability section was reported to have some tricky questions.

TS ICET 2020 Day 1 Shift 1 Section-Wise Analysis

Analytical Ability	Moderate - Hard	Data Sufficiency questions were reported to be quite difficult. Topics such as Mensuration, Quadratic Equations, Mensuration and Progressions were asked. Even though the overall difficulty level of Data Analysis questions was reported to be easy, the questions were calculation-intensive and time-consuming. Questions were asked from Data Interpretation, Tables, Pie Charts etc. Reasoning questions were of moderate difficulty level and include topics such as Coding-Decoding, Arrangement, Problem Solving, Blood Relations etc.
Mathematical Ability	Hard	The overall difficulty level of questions ranged from Moderate to Hard. The section contained a lot of calculation-based questions and hence was reported to be time-consuming by the students. The inclusion of a lot of concept-based questions in this section further also help keep the difficulty level of this section high.
Communication Ability	Easy	The section was comparatively easier as compared to the others and brought some relief to the candidates. 15 RC questions appeared in this section with the passage length around 100 - 150 words. Questions based on grammar were mostly easy with the candidates being asked to fill in the blanks with appropriate parts of speech. Questions based on synonyms and idioms and phrases were also included. Some of these were tricky to solve.

TS ICET 2020 Day 1 Shift 2 (Sep 30 - Afternoon) Exam Analysis

The Day 1 Shift 2 of TS ICET 2020 concluded on 5:30 PM and student reports have started coming in about the question paper of this shift. As per the reports of students, the TS ICET 2020 question paper was of moderate difficulty level and showed similar trends to the forenoon shift. TS ICET Day 1 Shift 2 Section-Wise Analysis

Analytical Ability	Moderate	The section contained a mix of easy to moderate questions. The question paper covered a wide range of topics including Data Sufficiency, Time & Distance, Averages etc. Some of the questions based on Series and Analogies were found to be unusual and were a surprise to the candidates. Candidates found Data Sufficiency questions to be easy to solve. Questions based on table and pie charts were also pretty straightforward.
Mathematical Ability	Hard	Mathematical Ability section was again reported to be a challenge and time-consuming section. The questions required candidates to have conceptual knowledge and only a few formula-based questions were asked in the exam. Candidates found Arithmetic Ability questions to be on the easier side. Questions from Geometry and Algebra, however, were difficult to go through.
Communication Ability	Moderate	3 RC passages with 5 questions each were asked in the section, similar to the forenoon shift. Topics such as Fill in the Blanks, Vocabulary, Grammar, Statement-Conversion were asked in the question paper. The RC and Fill in the Blanks Questions were found to be on the easier side. However, Vocab, Active-Passive and Statement-Conversation question posed some difficulty for the candidates.

TS ICET 2020 Day 2 (Oct 1) Exam Analysis

The first and only shift on Day 2 of TS ICET 2020 has been conducted and it has concluded this season of TS ICET. The Day 2 of TS ICET was conducted successfully with no glitches reported from the exam centres. The difficulty level of the TS ICET exam varied across the sections. While the English section was reported to be Easy, the Maths section was reported to be difficult to attempt.

TS ICET 2020 Day 2 Section-Wise Analysis

Analytical Ability	Moderate	Analytical Ability section of TS ICET had 75 questions in total. Topics asked in this section included Coding-Decoding, Pie Charts, Seating Arrangements etc. The overall difficulty level of the exam levelled around Moderate.
Mathematical Ability	Hard	Maths is proving to be the most difficult section in TS ICET this year. Candidates reported that the questions were time-consuming and difficult to solve. Major topics covered included Number System, Mensuration, Geometry, Ratio & Proportion etc.
Communication Ability	Easy	Candidates reported this section to be easy as compared to other parts of the question paper. Most of the questions asked were from Reading Comprehension, Grammar and Vocabulary.
