According to the revised pattern, UP matric social science 2023 theory paper will be set for 70 marks in total. It has 20 multiple-choice questions which are to be answered separately on an OMR sheet. In the other section, there are eight descriptive questions equally divided between 4 and 6 marks and there is also a map-based question of 5 marks. An internal choice of 50% is provided for the long answer questions.
