UPSC CSE Prelims 2022: Phase 1 Exam Centre Change Facility Begins at upsc.gov.in

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notice for candidates going to appear in the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2022 regarding the selection of examination centers. Two new exam centres have been added in the state of Himachal Pradesh - Dharmashala and Mandi for the Prelims exam of UPSC. On the other hand, the candidates can now change the exam city (if required) starting from today i.e. 3rd March 2022. 

As per the notice, the prelims examination for CSE 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on June 5, 2022 [including the Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination] all across India. Also, considering the fact that the Commission has newly decided to use two additional centers at Dharamshala and Mandi in the state of Himachal Pradesh for the Preliminary Examination, 2022, it has now been decided to give an opportunity to the applicants to submit their revised choice of Center. Therefore the requests made for a change in the centers by the candidates will be considered against the capacity intimated by the Centres for accommodating the candidates.

The application form for UPSC CSE 2022 has been closed on 22 February 2022 and the admit card is expected to be released in the month of May 2022.
