UPSC DAF 2 Form 2022 Starts Today: Instructions Released by UPSC

UPSC DAF 2 Form 2022 is starting today on December 08, 2022. The last date to fill out the UPSC DAF 2 form 2022 is 14th December 2022 till 6 PM.

UPSC DAF 2 Form 2022 is starting today on December 08, 2022. The students who have passed the UPSC Mains 2022 exam and are qualified for the personality test can fill out the form by 14th December 2022 till 6 PM. The UPSC DAF 2022 form II will be available online on the official website of UPSC at upsconline.nic.in. It is mandatory to fill the UPSC DAF 2 Form 2022 for all the qualified candidates else their candidature will be canceled and no correspondence will be entertained by the Commission in this regard.

Also, the candidates who fail to fill out the UPSC DAF 2022 form will not be issued the e-Summon letter. The candidates can go through and download the UPSC DAF 2 sample provided below to understand the UPSC DAF 2 Format.

UPSC DAF 2 Form 2022: Impotant Instructions

The UPSC board has also released some important UPSC DAF 2 Instructions that the candidates must keep in mind. These instructions are:

  • No details filled in UPSC DAF 2 Form 2022 can be changed after submission except the contact/ address details. The candidates can change their address details by contacting the UPSC commission.
  • In the online UPSC DAF 2 Form 2022, a candidate is required to indicate their order of preferences only for those services that are listed in the Civil Services Examination 2022 and to which they would like to be assigned if they are selected.
  • Candidates who belong to reserved categories will also have to upload their documents along with the form.
  • If the candidate is selected by UPSC for service allocation, then the allocation will be done on the basis of preferences filled by the candidate in the UPSC DAF 2 Form 2022 subject to fulfillment of other conditions.
  • No change in preferences for Services once submitted by a candidate would be permitted. In case preference for none of the Services is indicated, the candidate will not be considered for Service Allocation.
  • The candidates who wish to apply for IAS or IPS positions will have to fill in the order of preferences for various Zones and Cadres for which they would like to be considered for allotment. 
  • No change in preference of Zones and Cadres once submitted by a candidate would be permitted.
