With the determination to work for the development of the country, toppers of JEE Main 2017 from Uttarakhand have decided to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi in building a better future for India.
Toppers from the hill state, Dehradun’s Ayush Kaushal who scored 292 marks out of 360. Among the other high scorers were Shristi Dabola and Nitin More who dropped a year to prepare for the exam. Both of them secured 266 marks out of 360.
Talking about her objective, Shristi said that getting admission in IIT is not her main goal. She said that she wants to crack the civil service examination in order to work for the development of the nation. She also added that she is highly influenced by PM Narendra Modi and would like to work with him some day.

Shristi did her schooling from the Brightland School. After clearing her class 12 exams in 2016 she enrolled for coaching classes to start preparing for JEE.

Nitin More, another one of the toppers from the state, wishes to fulfill his brother’s dream of becoming an engineer. Nitin lost his brother in an accident. Nitin did his schooling from Scholar Academy, Roorkee and started preparing for JEE Main after passing class 12.
Nitin is another admirer of Mr. Narendra Modi and wants to crack the Civil Service exam to contribute in the development of the nation. He said that education is worth it if the talent is utilised for the progress of the country.

Another high score, Ankit Jain scored 251 marks out of 360. Ankit belongs to a poor family and his brother runs a small tea stall. Talking about his family’s struggles, Ankit said that his brother has worked very hard for his education. He also said that his success was credited to his brother.

The top 2.20 lakh students who appeared for JEE Main 2017 are now getting ready for the JEE Advanced exam that will be conducted on May 21, 2017.
