VIT University will be conducting VITEEE 2017 exam for the admission to various UG engineering courses from April 5 to April 16, 2017. The varsity provides scholarships to top 1,000 rankers of VITEEE every year. These scholarships are being offered under GV School Development Programme (GVSDP). However, the students are eligible for scholarship only if they secure a rank between 1-1,000.

The details of scholarship are given below: -

| VITEEE rank holders between 51 to 100 | 50% tuition fee waiver (four years) |
| Candidates who secure rank between 101 to 1,000 | 25% tuition fee waiver (four years) |
| Toppers of CBSE and all state boards | 100% tuition waiver (four years) |
The varsity offers a scholarship of Rs. 50,000 to the candidates who secure rank a between 1 to 1,000 and the candidates who secure a rank between 1,001 to 2,000 will get a scholarship of Rs. 25,000.

Terms and Conditions of the Scholarship: -
- First-year students will get the scholarship as per the rank they secure in VITEEE 2017.
- However, for second, third and fourth-year students, the scholarship will be provided only if he/she secures 8.0 CGPA in the examinations as well as attendance percentage.
February 28, 2017, is the deadline to submit online applications for VITEEE 2017.
Vignan and Koneru Lakshmaiah University, Andhra Pradesh also offer fee waivers and scholarships to the candidates who secure top ranks in the entrance examinations. It is a good move to encourage the economically backward students who are good at studies.
