Proving their mettle yet again, VMV College from the Nagpur defeated GGPR College from Goa in the West-Zone Finals of Red Bull Campus Cricket. The city champions battle it out against each other to secure their berth in the National Finals.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, GGPR College managed to score only 77 runs after being bowled out by VMV College in the 19.1 overs. Chasing a target of 78 runs did not seem too difficult for VMV as they cruised in the final.

VMV college reached the finals of the tournament. Kuldeep Salve was adjudged Man-of-the-Match for his all-round performance and amazing batting.

VMV College is now among the top two teams from the West zone to enter the National Finals. Competing against the best from across the country, the National winner will represent India in the Red Bull Campus Cricket World Series Championship 2016.

To promote the spirit of the sport and its players, Suzuki Motorcycle India have partnered with Red Bull Campus Cricket, and seven of the best players from the zonal and national levels of the tournament will walk away with the popular Suzuki Gixxer motorcycle.
