Students are demanding for the WBJEE 2022 exam postponement due to the clash with Board exam dates. The students have also rolled a campaign on social media in this regard.
NEW DELHI: After JEE Main 2022 exam, students enrolled for WBJEE 2022 are demanding postponement due to the clash with ISC board exams. WBJEE 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on April 30, 2022. Whereas the CBSE and CISCE board exams will be started from April 28, 2022, and will continue till June 2022. In addition, the WBJEE exam date also clashes with the ISC elective English exams. In the meantime, the students feel additional pressure if the WBJEE exam is not revised.

Students demand for WBJEE 2022 postponement
A number of students raise their voice on social media platforms. One student stated that they feel additional pressure to prepare for both the Board exam and WBJEE at the same time simultaneously. JEE Main 2022 got postponed due to a similar reason. If the WBJEE exam date is not revised, then the students will be the main victims.
Supporting the fact, the All India Student’s Union rolling a trend ‘#PostponeWBJEE2022’ on Twitter. They requested the postponement of 15-20 days to WB CM.
In this regard, Meenakshi Sinha, a promising aspirant of Uccha Madhyamik, Class 12 added that the Higher Secondary Biology exam is scheduled on April 27, 2022; whereas the WBJEE will be held on April 30, 2022. It is next to impossible for them to prepare for WBJEE immediately within 2 days of the Higher Secondary exam.
About WBJEE
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state-level examination, which is conducted by the WBJEEB. WBJEE exam is commenced for admission to BTech and BPharma courses at government colleges, universities, self-financing engineering, and technical institutions. The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based test).
