MAH MBA CET, which is usually held in February or March has been delayed this year. The Maharashtra State CET Cell has not issued any notification yet regarding the official date of the exam.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the universities had to postpone the undergraduate degree exams as a result of which, the result of these exams was also delayed. This has led to the postponement of the MAH MBA CET exam which is held for MBA/ MMS admission offered by the state colleges and universities.
MAH MBA CET is held in the online mode and the duration of the exam is 2.5 hours. The exam is followed by the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Counselling in which the candidates are allotted MBA seats in MAH MBA CET participating colleges on the basis of their result.
The exam was conducted last year on March 14 and 15 across 148 centres in the state. Roughly 1,10, 631 candidates had appeared for the exam through which, over 3,000 seats for MBA courses were filled in various colleges. The date for the MHT CET entrance exam, which is held for Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture admissions has also not been announced yet. Class 10th and 12th boards have already been postponed in Maharashtra due to the covid situation.
