How to Register for MAH MBA CET Participating Colleges

The registration process of the MAH MBA CET participating colleges varies from institute to institute. After the declaration of MAH MBA CET 2023 results, the shortlisted candidates will have to participate in the Centralized Admission Process, known as MAH MBA CET CAP, in which they will have to choose the participating institute where they desire to take admission.

According to the official website of MAH MBA CET, a minimum of 60-75 seats for the MBA programme are offered every year by each MAH MBA CET Participating institute. Thus, the total number of seats that will be available for admission in the MBA programme can vary from around 25,000 to 30,000 including all institutes.

The total MBA/MMS/PGDM seats in the MBA colleges in Maharashtra through MAH MBA CET 2023 are 38000 to 40000+ for 2023-25 batch. The MBA colleges have both DTE CAP seats based on MAH MBA CET 2023 scores and other National exam scores, as well as institute-level intake. As per the DTE guidelines, some of the MBA colleges can offer admission at the institute level to All India candidates after completion of all the CAP rounds 2023. 

MAH MBA CET Admission Process: Centralised Admission Process (CAP)

The Maharashtra State CET conducts a Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for providing Admission to MBA colleges accepting MAH MBA CET scores. MAH MBA CET CAP is an online process. It is conducted about a month after the declaration of the MAH MBA CET result.

• Under this process, candidates who clear the MAH MBA CET exam, have to register online for CAP at the State CET website.

• Candidates have to fill the CAP form mentioning their academic details, MAH MBA CET score, and preferred course/colleges.

• CAP cutoffs and merit lists are released in two rounds.

• The State CET allots seats to candidates at their preferred colleges on the basis of cutoffs fixed by the admission authorities. 

• Those who are allotted seats are then required to visit the college and complete the admission process within the stipulated time.

• Candidates who confirm their admission in the first round are not considered for the second round of admission.

The MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling will be conducted after the release of the MAH MBA CET Cutoff 2023 for the admission process. Usually, three to four rounds of counselling are conducted after the CBT exam. DTE Maharashtra will be responsible for releasing the Cut Off Merit List for Maharashtra & Minority Seats along with All India Seats CAP Round-I. Provisional vacancies will be announced after CAP Round 2 for admission to MBA/MMS.
