Delhi University UG Admissions 2018: Registration Process to Begin from May 15
- Since most of the state boards are expected to announce the results this month, DU is planning to begin the registration process for UG courses from May 15.
- A single-point registration option will be available for both entrance-based and merit-based UG courses.
TheUniversity of Delhiwill commence the registration process for the admission to UG (Undergraduate) courses for theacademic session 2018-19from May 15, 2018. A major change in the admission process for the new academic session is that the candidates need not submit application form separately forentrance-based UG courses. All information regarding the admission process can be availed from the bulletin of information that will be offered in a downloadable format through the official website of DU.

The aspirants can visit thecentralised admission portalof Delhi University to register for all the courses. The single-point registration system has been introduced to ensure all the data pertaining to applicants are centrally located. The system will also help the admission committee to access the data at one place. The first cut-off for variousUG coursesis expected to be released in the second week of June 2018.

The University of Delhi is also planning to start 'open days' from May 21 to May 29, 2018, at the Conference Centre in North Campus. The open days will be off on Sundays. Before the commencement of registration process, it is advisable to have an understanding ofDU Online Registration Process for UG CoursesandDocuments required for the Admission. Students who are waiting for Class 12 board exam results can still fill the DU application form for UG courses and upload their class 12 documents later when the results have been announced.
DU has also decided to conduct online computer-based entrance exam for PG, Ph.D, M.Phill and certain UG courses across 18 cities in India. Registration for this will be done through the same admission portal. The 5-year integrated journalism course has also been added to the DU admission protal
