The application process for DU admissions 2021 will start in June 2021. Follow the steps given below to know about Delhi University B.Com, B.Sc, and B.A. Application Process 2021 here:

Step1: Log on to the official website of Delhi University and register yourself in order to get the login credentials i.e. user ID and password for the DU admission Portal.

Step2: Once you have logged into your DU Admission account read all the instructions carefully before starting.

Step3: Fill the different fields in the application form i.e. personal information, academic information, course preference, etc.

Step 4: Upload all the documents that are needed including proof for date of birth, photograph, class 10 & 12 mark sheets, character certificate, transfer/ migration certificate, passport size photograph and category certificate (if applicable)

Step 5: Revise the details that you have written on the application form and make sure that there are no errors in your application form before submitting it.

Step 6: Submit the application form and pay the application fees.

The eligibility criteria for B.A, B.Com and B.Sc courses offered by the University of Delhi and its affiliated colleges can be checked below. Candidates who satisfy the below eligibility conditions of DU can submit the online application for DU admissions 2021 -

  • Students from different fields such as science or arts who are applying to commerce programme will have the disadvantage of 5% marks in the best four subject evaluation.
  • The business Mathematics subject will be on par with the B.Com course.

B.Com (H)

Class 12 (any stream) from a recognized board

45% in the passing exam

  • The percentage will be calculated for one language and three elective subjects (including mathematics and excluding vocational subjects)
  • Business Mathematics subject will be on par with the B.Com Honours Programme.
  • The inclusion of more than one non-listed elective in the top four subjects will add a disadvantage of 2.5 % marks.

B.Sc. (H)

Class 12 (any stream) from a recognized board

55% (including PCM/ PCB in the top four subjects)

  • It is also important to score at least 50% marks in English as a compulsory paper.


Class 12 (any stream) from a recognized board

45% in the passing/ qualifying exam

  • Candidates who have applied for language courses will get an advantage of 2.5% if they have studied that language as an elective.
  • 2.5% marks will be deducted if candidates have studied the language as a functional subject.
  • Candidates passing class 12 with two or three vocational courses may be eligible.
  • Students from different fields such as science or commerce who are applying to arts programme will have the disadvantage of 5% marks in the best four subject evaluation.
  • Legal studies elective will be considered at par with the BA Political Science Programme.
  • Mass Media subjects elective will be considered at par with Bain Journalism (Hindi & English)

Note: Qualifying the above eligibility criteria does not ensure admission in the UG programmes offered by the Delhi University. Admission depends on the cut-off of individual colleges.

Admission to most of the undergraduate courses offered by the University of Delhi is done on the basis of cut-off lists prepared by the university on the basis of merit in class 12 board exams. The university releases several cut-off lists until all the seats offered by affiliated colleges are filled.
