Delhi University UG Admissions through Entrance Test 2019 - Eligibility, Application Form, Dates

The University of Delhi has released the list of Undergraduate (UG) courses for which the varsity will conduct an entrance examination. The DU application process 2019 has begun from May 30, 2019. The Delhi University Entrance Exam for admission to UG courses will be conducted between 1st July 2019 to 7th July 2019.

Although talks were initiated to replace the cut-off based system for the B.Com (Hons) courses with the entrance exam, there has been no such concrete report regarding the same. Delhi University (DU) shall conduct an entrance examination for 12 UG courses this year, similar to last year.

• BBA (Financial Investment Analysis)
• BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies)

• Five Year Integrated Course in Journalism (English)

Eligibility Criteria for DU UG Entrance-Based Admissions 2019

The eligibility criteria for DU UG entrance-based courses can be checked below -

• Qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the first year of UG (Under Graduate) programmes offered by the University of Delhi (DU) shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent
• There is no minimum age bar for admission to the undergraduate courses of DU

The registration fee must be paid in online mode. The online registration process shall only be completed only after realization of the online registration fee

Instructions to Fill the DU Application Form 2019

After the commencement of the online application process for DU UG Entrance Exams 2019, students can follow the steps mentioned below to register for entrance exams -

• All the applicants must make it clear that there is a separate portal for entrance based courses.
• B.A (Hons) in Multimedia and Mass Communication is only open for female candidates.
• There are two rounds of the selection process for BMS and BBA programmes. The candidates who qualify in the entrance examination must also qualify in the Group Discussion/ Personal interview.
• The entrance examination for all the courses is offline, and the questions are objective in nature.
• Before filling the online application, the candidates need to be ready with the scanned copies of photograph, signature and Class 10 marks sheet or certificate.
• Along with the application, the candidates must upload photograph, signature and Class 10 marks sheet or certificate.
