Delay in JEE Main 2021 Exam Date Announcement Makes Students Anxious
With June 2021 has almost ended, no announcement on JEE Main 2021 (April and May) exam has been made by NTA. In all probability, the exam dates are expected to be announced by the first or second week of July.
JEE Main: Due to the pandemic, the JEE Main Phase 3 and Phase 4 exam which was to be conducted in April & May respectively was postponed. However, the revised dates for the same have not yet been announced by NTA even at the end of June 2021. This has ignited confusion among the students who have been waiting for JEE Main 2021 dates in order to pursue their B.Tech degree. Meanwhile, several states in India such as Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, and so on have released the dates for their respective Engineering entrance exams.

Moreover, there has been no announcement released by the Minister of Education in regards to the delay in JEE Main 2021 exam date. The last notification for the same was released by Ramesh Pokhriyal, the Union Minister of Education on May 04, 2021, via Twitter. Through the notification, the students were notified that the JEE Main May and April Session exams have been postponed and the dates will be notified soon. It is also to be noted that the 12th exam results for central and state boards will be released in July. So, the new dates for JEE Main 2021 exam are expected to be released after the declaration of the 12th board results.

Students also need not worry as the Government of India will provide the students with at least one month for the preparation of the JEE Main exam. Although, since there are two exams, it is likely that there will not be many gap days between the exams and they might be conducted between 20-25 days gap. JEE Main is the most popular national level exam in India which lakhs of students appear for in order to get admission to various Engineering colleges in India. Since the revised dates for JEE Main phase 3 and phase 4 exams have not been announced yet, it may cause further delay in academic sessions for fresher Engineering graduates.
