NTA has postponed JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 exam that is scheduled to take place from April 27 to 30, 2021. The new exam date will be announced soon. The registration for JEE Main April 2021 closed on April 4, and the admit card is expected to be released at least 10 days before the exam. Candidates who are appearing for Phase 3 can also appear for the Phase 4 exam. However, a separate application fee has to be paid for the 4th phase. In addition, the candidates will have the flexibility to change the exam centre for Phase 4 if he/she had applied for multiple sessions at a time. JEE Main 2021 is being conducted in 13 languages. JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 Admit Card

The Phase 3 admit card of JEE Main 2021 will be released 10 days before the exam. Candidates who have already appeared for Phase 1 & 2 must note that a new admit card will be generated for Phase 3. It is important to carry the admit card on exam day. The admit card has the detailed address of the exam venue along with important instructions.

JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 Eligibility Criteria

JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 eligibility criteria is as follows –

Eligibility Norm 1

  • Candidates who have appeared for Phase 1 & 2 JEE Main 2021 can appear for the Phase 3 exam.
  • Candidates who have not cleared Phase 1 & 2 can also appear for Phase 3.

Eligibility Norm 2

  • Candidates appearing/ appeared for Class 12th exams in 2021 are eligible to appear for the entrance exam.
  • Candidates who have passed the 12th exams in 2020 & 2019 can also register for JEE Main 2021.

Eligibility Norm 3

  • For Paper 1, the candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12th.
  • For Paper 2A, the candidates must have studied, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12th.
  • For Paper 2B, the candidates must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12th.

JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 Application Form

In order to help the candidates get better clarity on the Phase 3 application process of JEE Main 2021, we have divided the process into two categories –

Application Process for Candidates Appeared for Phase 1 or 2 or both

  • Candidates who appeared for the Phase 1 & 2 exam of JEE Main 2021 must note that New Registration is not mandatory to fill the application form.
  • The candidates will just have to log in with their Application Number & Password.
  • It is not necessary to upload the photograph and signature again.
  • Pay the application fee for the Phase 3 exam and take the printout of the confirmation page.

Application Process for Fresh Candidates

  • Candidates applying for the first time will have to complete the ‘New User Registration’
  • After new user registration, log in to fill in relevant details and upload the scanned image of the photograph and signature.
  • Pay the registration/ application fee and take the printout of the filled-in form.

There will not be any difference between JEE Main 2021 exam pattern for Phase 1, 2, 3 & 4. While the Paper 1 exam is applicable for B.E/ B.Tech, Paper 2A is for B.Arch and Paper 2B is for B.Planning. Some of the major highlights of the JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 exam pattern are as follows –

JEE Main 2021 Phase 3 Syllabus

NTA has specified a similar syllabus for all phases of the JEE Main 2021 exam. For Paper 1, the candidates will have to take the exam in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects. The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU), Vadodara takes direct admission to the B.Tech CSE on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam.
