MICA Admissions 2018: MICAT Final Merit List Released

MICAhas released the final merit list of the selected candidates based onMICATfor the admission to management courses offered by it on March 31, 2018. Theresults of MICAT II 2018were announced on February 26, 2018.

The score of MICAT is used for the shortlisting the candidates for GE & PI, and for preparing the final merit list. TheGE & PI processthat began on March 01, 2018, concluded on March 18, 2018. As per the official schedule of MICAT, the final merit was out on March 31. The candidates who are eagerly waiting for the final merit list can check the same through the official website now.

How to Check MICAT II Final Merit List?

• Open the official website of MICA
• On the home page, click on the option 'PGDM-C 2018-20 Final Merit List'
• A new page will open
• Enter the MICA Application Number
• Your selection status will be displayed

Preparation of MICAT Final Merit List: -

• The list will be prepared on the basis ofMICAT IorMICAT IIor the better among the two
• While preparing the final merit list, a majority of the recommendations made by the panel members of PI will be taken into consideration.
• Candidates who score at least 3.5 or above on a 5-point scale in GE and at least 4 or above on a 5-point scale in GE will have more chances to feature in the final merit list
• MICA will consider the score secured in MICAT while preparing the final merit list
• MICAT score will have 30% weightage while preparing the final merit list followed by 20% weightage forGMAT/XAT/CATand 50% weightage for GE, PI. Through this process, the Final Composite Score (FCS) will be prepared.
